The Salzburg International Christian Church is an ecumenical, international congregation of Christian believers. Our church is part of the Evangelical (Protestant) Church of Austria. With other congregations of this denomination we have roots in the Augsburg (Lutheran) and Helvetic (Reformed/Presbyterian) traditions. We meet every Sunday at 11h

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was a service of joy as we celebrated the coming of the Christ child with the Lighting of our Advent Wreath and the Christ Candle in its center.   Elise van Es delighted with singing ‘The Carol of the Birds’ and ‘I wonder as I wander’.

Advent 2 … we light the candle of Peace

The innkeepers visited with  their  message of ‘no room’ and we pondered our openness to make room to receive the Christ child.   Martha sang to the children ‘The Most Beautiful story that’s ever been told’ and small gifts were handed out to celebrate this second Candle of Advent.
