The Salzburg International Christian Church is an ecumenical, international congregation of Christian believers. Our church is part of the Evangelical (Protestant) Church of Austria. With other congregations of this denomination we have roots in the Augsburg (Lutheran) and Helvetic (Reformed/Presbyterian) traditions. We meet every Sunday at 11h

A Happy Christmas Day at SICC

A Happy Christmas Day at SICC Christmas was celebrated at SICC with the Lighting of the Advent wreath and the Christ Candle.   It was a joyful day with lots of photos taken to celebrate our coming together to worship the Babe of Bethlehem who became the Christ.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent, the candle of Joy was lit and its light blazed with the light of Hope and Peace – a weary world rejoices.  We listened with delight as three of our women shared their memories of Christmas in Scotland and we sang a Gaelic carol written in the 1800s.

    15 November 2015 On Sunday the church family brought their prepared ”Christmas Boxes’ for the Operation Christmas Child (Samaritan’s Purse).  This year the boxes from Austria are going to Moldavia/Romania.  Our thanks to Moira for supervising the collection and transferring them to the Office in Salzburg.
